Welcome

We celebrate the traditional Mass in English every Sunday at 10 am and we invite you to join us. You are welcome to take Holy Communion, whether a Christian or not; whether divorced or not; whether you’ve ever taken communion before or not. We break bread with all to whom the Lord Christ would show love and compassion --- namely yourself.

Join us for refreshments afterwards and if you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask our clergy or congregation members.  St. Francis is not only a church, but also a center that encourages community through the spiritual growth of every person. We also offer the Sacraments of Matrimony, Baptism and Healing to all seekers, regardless of background.

Our Heritage

Established in 1916, The Liberal Catholic Church derives its Episcopal succession from the Old Catholic Church of Holland. The church combines the traditional sacramental from of worship---with its stately ritual, its deep mysticism, and its abiding witness to the reality of sacramental grace---with the widest measure of intellectual liberty and respect for the individual conscience.

Membership

Church membership requires you receive the Sacrament of Baptism in our church (automatic membership) or alternately take part in an Admission Ceremony.

We provide a formal educational program through The Liberal Catholic Institute of Studies if you are interested. However, our library offers enough suggested reading to probably last you a life time. We also hold Adult and Children’s Education programs, as appropriate. Formal membership extends you the right to vote or become a member of the Vestry, our local governing body.
